Malavika Mohanan has responded to people who criticised her for wearing a revealing outfit and sharing it on social media sites. The actress, indeed, came up with a befitting reply to the trolls by posting yet another picture in order to silence the 'sanskari' people who tried to preach her acceptable costumes for women in public.
"So many comments and opinions about how "a respectable girl should dress". On that note, here, take one more picture of me sitting very respectably wearing whatever the hell I want to wear :) [sic]," the actress shot back.
It all started after Malavika Mohanan shared a picture of her in a white tank top and blue shorts. She posted the photo and wrote, "I woke up like this. Just kidding. Took 2 hours of makeup(@nittigoenka )and hair(@akshatahonawar ), interrupted by a lot of nonsensical chatter(mainly @theitembomb ), last minute styling heart attacks(@triparnam ), and some kickass skills and tutoring by @rahuljhangiani to finally get this [sic]."
What followed next was severe criticism and advises asking her not to wear such revealing outfits. The misogynistic comments did not go well with the actress, who choose to give it back to the trolls in style.
On the professional front, the 26-year old, who made her acting debut with Malayalam film Pattam Pole, was recently seen in Rajinikanth's Petta. She is currently working on a few films that include Telugu movie Hero starring Vijay Deverakonda.
