South Korean consumer electronics major LG launched the Stylus 2in India.
LG Stylus 2 was originally unveiled in February and was showcased at Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2016, Barcelona. Now, the mid-range phablet has finally set foot in India.
The Stylus 2 is the second-generation model of G4 Stylus, which was unveiled in May last year. It sports 5.7-inch HD display with In-cell Touch technology and comes with Android Marshmallow OS powered by 1.2GHz Qualcomm quad-core processor backed by 2GB RAM, 16GB inbuilt memory and a 3,000mAh battery.
LG Stylus 2 also houses 13MP camera with LED flash on the rear-side and an 8MP front snapper.
The main aspect of Stylus 2 is its pen-like tool that comes with a nano-coated tip. To enhance user experience, LG has incorporated proprietary feature – "Pen Pop" — which toggles a popup menu when the stylus is removed and offers shortcuts to Pop Memo and Pop Scanner.
Another notable feature of LG Stylus 2 is the "Pen Keeper," which prevents the stylus from getting misplaced. It displays a popup message when the phone is detected as being in motion, while the stylus bay is empty. LG has also included "Calligraphy Pen" font feature that allows users to write notes decoratively as if using a fountain pen.

The company has confirmed the new LG Stylus 2 will be made available in two colour options – brown and titanium — for Rs. 19,500 from May 18 onwards across India.
