LG's recently unveiled mid-range smartphone series 3 L70, though not officially launched by the company, has been listed at an online store in India revealing the price of the mid-range.
The new LG phone made its global debut at the MWC (Mobile World Congress) 2014, last month along with L90 and L40 and within a month of unveiling, Indian e-shop website, Snapdeal has started retailing LG Series L70 for ₹14,500.
The mid-range phone sports an IPS LCD display with 400x800p resolutions and runs on the Android v4.4 KitKat OS powered by 1.2GHz Snapdragon dual-core processor with Adreno 302 GPU, 1GB RAM and 4GB inbuilt storage (expandable up to 32GB).
L70 also houses 8.0-megapixel main camera, 1.3-megapixel snapper on the front for video chat, a 2100 mAh battery and includes standard connectivity features like Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GSPR/EDGE.
Besides LG Series L70, Snapdeal is also selling its higher-end model L90 for 18,990. It's main USP is that the phone boasts gesture-control feature - 'Knock Code' which used to be only available in high-end LG smartphones. With Knock Code, he/she can switch-on the phone by just tapping on the screen using more than 86,000 combinations. The knock pattern can be entered on any area of the screen, whether the display is turned on or off - using anywhere from two to eight taps.
L90 runs on the latest Android v4.4 KitKat OS and comes with IrRC (Infrared Remote Control) feature to help scroll through television channels as well as control volume. [For more specification details, click here]
