Consumer electronics giant, LG has officially launched the company's flagship curved smartphone G Flex in India.
As promised in December, LG G Flex has been made available in the market for a whopping ₹69,999, making it the most expensive handset in the subcontinent. Prospective buyers can place orders at online store, Snapdeal for ₹69,990, or opt for Infibeam, which is retailing the same device for ₹69,490.
Touted as the world's first curved-flexing smartphone, LG G Flex flaunts a concave (vertical) body, ergonomically designed to reduce the distance between the mouth and the phone's microphone when held against the ear. It sports a 6.0-inch Plastic based OLED HD curved display with pixel density of 245 ppi (pixels per inch).
Another striking feature of the G Flex is the 'self-healing' body case, where the rear-case has the ability to recover daily wear and tear scratches (minor) within a few seconds.
Inside, the LG device packs a 2.26GHz Snapdragon CPU, Adreno 330 graphics engine, 2GB RAM, 32GB inbuilt memory, 13.0-megapixel camera (with LED flash, auto focus, HDR) and a 2.1-megapixel front camera with full HD video recording ability and a high-capacity 3500 mAh Li-Polymer battery.
