Consumer electronics major LG has pulled the wraps off the new G Pad II 8.3 tablet in the company's home market South Korea.

The new LG tablet features 8.3-inch WUXGA IPS screen and runs on the Android 5.1.1 Lollipop powered by the Qualcomm's Snapdragon 615 Octa-core CPU with 4000 mAh battery, 2GB RAM, 16GB memory with expandable option up to 2TB via microSD card.

It also boasts of 8MP auto-focus camera on the rear-side and a 2MP snapper at the front.

Another notable aspect of LG Pad II 8.3 LTE is that it comes bundled with Microsoft Office package that include Word, Excel, PowerPoint and other tools.

The new LG G Pad II model will be made available initially in South Korea through LG U+ network carrier, 23 November onwards, reported Fone Arena. It will come in brown gold colour option. However, the price of the device is still under wraps.

As of now, there is no word on whether LG has any immediate plan to release the G Pad tablet in other international markets. Stay tuned for more updates.
