Toyota's luxury sub-brand Lexus kick-started its India operation on March 24. Lexus India started off with the launch of ES sedan and RX luxury crossover. The range got expanded in May with the arrival of full-size luxury SUV LX. Lexus India's portfolio is not over yet.

Lexus is now offering RC F premium performance coupe in India, reports NDTV Auto. Unlike the other three models, RC F is offered only on order-to-order basis with a price tag of over Rs. 2 crore, ex-showroom. Hence, the car is not listed on Lexus India website.
The introduction of RC F is not surprising since the model was part of a private preview event organised by Lexus Kochi in January. Though the model was on display, there was no clarity on the availability of the model in the country back then.
RC F comes with signature premium styling of the Lexus brand complimented with a sporty touch. Upfront, RC F boasts of spindle grille with F-mesh pattern on the lower half, unique front hood, hood air vent from the LFA, front cooling ducts and front fender ducts in the L shape. The boomerang styled slim LED headlight, split LED daytime running lights and 20-inch wheels add sportiness of RC F.
On the inside, RC F comes with tachometer that alters according to drive mode, digital and analog speedometer, differential torque vectoring monitor, G-force meter, oil and water temperature gauges, elliptical cross-section steering wheel and back upholstered seats.
Lexus RC F is powered by 5.0-litre 2UR-GSE V8 engine mated to eight-speed automatic transmission sending the power to the rear wheels. The mill develops 467hp of power and 389Nm of torque. The car requires only 4.4 seconds to reach 96kmph and has a top speed of 270kmph.
