The Intelligence Bureau has issued an alert that terror organisations Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) and Jaish-e-Mohammed are planning attacks on New Delhi using drones.

The intelligence agencies have warned of possible aerial attacks using unmanned drones and asked the Delhi police to take all precautionary measures to avoid the terror attack.

On receiving the inputs, Delhi police have alerted all district DCPs asking them to identify all sellers of drones or individuals who give it on rent and the drone operators to keep track of any activity, The Times of India reported.

The police have directed the district officials to put on hold any private parties and prevent film-makers and any other operators from flying unmanned aircrafts until and unless they are given permission after verification, TOI sources said.

The intelligence agencies issued the alert after unmanned drone carrying sand contaminated with radioactive caesium reportedly landed on the roof of Japanese Prime Minister's office a few days ago.
