There were two important smartphone releases this month by well-known brands, Lenovo and Xiaomi. Both smartphones are targeted towards budget-conscious shoppers and are priced effectively to attract consumers. Lenovo launched its Vibe K5 Plus during the K5 Note release on August 1 and Xiaomi placed its bet with the Redmi 3S Prime, which was launched alongside the Redmi 3S on August 3.

Lenovo Vibe K5 Plus is cheaper than Xiaomi Redmi 3S Prime, but the difference is not vast. Lenovo Vibe K5 Plus is priced at Rs. 8,499 and it is available on Flipkart without any flash sales or registrations. On the other hand, Xiaomi Redmi 3S costs Rs. 8,999 and the first sale is set to take place on August 9 exclusively on Mi.com and Flipkart.

While both smartphones are priced almost the same, they also strike a close fight in terms of specifications. We are going to compare the Vibe K5 Plus and the Redmi 3S Prime to see which one is worth more than the other.

By comparison, the Vibe K5 Plus has an edge over the Redmi 3S Prime with its brighter and clearer display.
