Chinese PC maker Lenovo on Wednesday (3 June) launched the much awaited Intel powered big-screen K900 smartphone in India for ₹32,999.
The company said that the new phablet will be made available in exclusive Lenovo stores in major cities across the country by early July.
Lenovo K900 which made its global debut way back in January is touted as the first smartphone to pack Intel Atom processor Clover Trail+. The company claims that K900 is slimmest device in its class with a 6.2mm thin body.
The new device sports a 5.5-inch IPS Full HD 1080p display having pixel density close to 401 ppi (pixels per inch) and runs on the latest Android v4.2 Jelly Bean OS powered by 2GHz dual-core Intel Atom processor with PowerVR SGX544 graphics engine.
Lenovo K900 comes with 2GB RAM, 16GB internal memory which can be expanded up to 32GB through microSD card.
During the launch, Lenovo India, Managing Director, Amar Babu said, "The journey for Lenovo smartphones in India that began last November, takes a whole new dimension with the launch of 6 new power-packed mobile devices, which offer an excellent choice for smartphone buyers in India. Our retail footprint has grown considerably to 3000 retail stores, since we launched our first range of smartphones last year. We will continue to expand our reach in India."
