Earlier in the week, Lenovo India kicked off an online poll asking fans to vote for how much RAM the soon-to-be-launched K4 Note should have.

Now, Lenovo India via Twitter has confirmed that the device will indeed boast 3GB RAM, 50% more than its predecessor K3 Note. The former model shipped with 2GB RAM.

"More than 99% of you preferred 3 GB RAM in the #KillerNote2016 & that's what you'll get! Get ready for the RAMpage!" reads Lenovo India Twitter post.

Besides RAM space and metal-body, very little is known about K4 Note, which is expected to get launched in the first week of January 2016 with price-tag of around Rs.10,000.

Word on the street is that K4 Note will boast finger-print sensor. However, it is yet to be ascertained whether it will be placed on the home button in the front-panel or on the back below the camera module like the one we find in the Coolpad Note 3.

Another rumour that caught our attention is that the K4 Note will have 32GB inbuilt storage, that's double the memory we see in the K3 Note.

If this turns out to be true, K4 Note will certainly be a huge hit just like its predecessor 2015 model despite costing just Rs. 9,999 which boasts 5.5-inch full HD (1920x1080p) display and comes packed with Android Lollipop OS, 64-bit MediaTek Octa-core processor, 2GB RAM, 16GB memory, 13MP camera on the back and 3000 mAh battery.
