Lenovo' slatest announcement is sure to make its fans happy. A few prospective buyers, who had failed to buy Lenovo A6000 Plus smartphone for its dubious flash sale process, can now easily buy the A6000 successor from Flipkart's open sale.

This is the first time since A6000 Plus' release in April 2015 that Lenovo is arranging an open sale for it. Prospective buyers can now buy the phone just by logging in to Flipkart anytime during the 48-hour window between 25 and 26 May.

A6000 Plus is the successor of the most sold 4G smartphone in India, Lenovo A600. It boasts a 5-inch 720p display and is powered by a Snapdragon 410 SoC (System on Chip), backed with 2GB RAM and 16GB storage.

On the camera front, A6000 Plus sports an 8mp rear camera and a 2mp front camera. With a measured thickness of 8.2mm, the phone weighs 128g, and also features the Dolby Digital audio effects and 4G connectivity option.

Powered by a 2,200 mAh battery, the smartphone is expected to provide battery backup for a day. Lenovo A6000 Plus is currently available for ₹7,499. For its price, A6000 Plus competes with Micromax Yu Yuphoria and Xiaomi Redmi 2 in India.
