Chinese consumer electronics major Lenovo has launched a new advanced Turbo variant of the budget phablet A7000 in India.

Going by the spec-list of the A7000 Turbo, this new device looks more like a re-branded version of the popular K3 Note. They have identical features, but for no apparent reason the newer device costs Rs 1,000 more.

The A7000 Turbo sports 5.5-inch full-HD display and runs Android 5.0 Lollipop OS, powered by a MediaTek Octa-core SoC (System on Chip), 2GB RAM, 16GB inbuilt memory and a 2,900mAh battery.

It also houses a 13MP primary camera with Omnivision OV13850 sensors having five-element lens, f/2.0 aperture, and a 5MP snapper on the front with Omnivision OV5670 sensor having three-element lens and f/2.2 aperture.

K3 Note is currently being sold on Flipkart for Rs 9,999, whereas the A7000 Turbo is listed on Lenovo's official e-commerce site The Do Store for Rs 10,999. The company claims shipment of the pre-booked device will commence on 13 January in India.
