The smartphone market in India is witnessing fierce competition and companies are trying hard to face the challenge from rivals. They seem to have realised that the best way to hold on to market share is by releasing new models that fit the needs of consumers and yet remain affordable. Though the intense competition benefits consumers, it also makes it difficult for them to choose the right smartphone that offers the best value.

In order to make things easy, we have hand-picked some of the most recent smartphones that are equally worthy and fit your under-₹10,000 budget. We have a side-by-side comparison of Lenovo A7000, Yu Yureka and InFocus M330 based on their specs, features and price.

All three phones in this comparison settle with a 5.5-inch HD display, but Micromax's Yu Yureka has an upper hand with its Gorilla Glass 3 protection. InFocus M330 incorporates Gorilla Glass 2 while Lenovo A7000 lacks Corning Gorilla protection. It is a safe bet to go with Yureka if you are prone to dropping your phone while all three handsets offer HD resolution.

Of all three phones, Yu Yureka is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 octa-core processor, which is a combination of Quad-core 1.7GHz ARM Cortex A53 and quad-core 1.0GHz A53. Lenovo and InFocus opted for a MediaTek SoC. The A7000 is powered by a 1.5GHz Tru octa-core processor and the InFocus handset runs on 1.7GHz octa-core SoC. Once again, Yureka has a better chance of deliver greater speed and less lags but the difference is barely recognizable.

RAM and Storage

There is no contest in this category as all three phones have 2GB RAM and 16GB onboard expandable storage.

There is an interesting competition in the camera department among all three phones. The Yureka and InFocus handsets sport 13MP rear-facing cameras with LED flash while the Lenovo A7000 is equipped with 8MP sensor. The quality of the camera is yet to determined, which we expect to do in a hands-on comparison soon.

On the front side, Lenovo A7000 and Yureka have 5MP cameras while InFocus beats the two with its 8MP shooter.

InFocus M330 comes equipped with the largest battery compared to the other two phones. There is a 3,100mAh battery powering the M330, while Lenovo A7000 and Yureka use 2,900mAh and 2,500mAh batteries respectively.

InFocus M330 is priced higher than the other two phones, at ₹9,999, while Lenovo A7000 and Yureka are competitively priced at ₹8,999/-
