Chinese consumer electronics giant Lenovo is all geared up to host the A6000 flash sale in India on 4 February.
The company in collaboration with e-commerce affiliate Flipkart is offering 20,000 units at 2pm on Wednesday.
Prospective buyers are advised to get themselves registered for Flipkart flash sale. Registration window (HERE) has been open since 28 January (6pm) and is slated close on Tuesday night (03 February) at 11:59 pm.
Last week, all 10,000 units of A6000 got sold out in a record two seconds. The company anticipating same response from the public has doubled the inventory capacity to 20,000.
Despite the increase in number of units for the sale, we believe it won't last long on Flipkart. The company has tipped users to log in to Flipkart a couple of hours ahead of the flash sale to increase their chance of getting their hand on the Lenovo handset.
Lenovo A6000's USP is that it boasts 64-bit class Snapdragon 410 manufactured by industry leader, Qualcomm and comes with a price-tag of ₹6,999, making it the cheapest 4G-LTE smartphone in the market.
Other advantages of having 64-bit processor is that the phone's performance and RAM management will more optimised and efficiently used among the apps. Users are less likely to face lag during multi-tasking.
Secondly, new Android applications starting this year will roll out with 64-bit architecture compliant codes, making Lenovo A6000 future-proof.
It will be competing with popular brands like Micromax YU Yureka, Nokia Lumia 638 and Xiaomi Redmi Note 4G.
