Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone recently bagged a big international project opposite Vin Diesel. The diva signed her first Hollywood film "XXX: The Return of Xander Cage" last month and she will start shooting for it in February.
Apart from Diesel, the actress will reportedly share screen space with international stars like Jet Li, Tony Jaa, Nina Dobrev and Ruby Rose. Deepika will be seen in a sexy glamorous avatar in the film. She will play a huntress' character who happens to be Cage's ex-love interest, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The original "XXX" storyline revolved around the athlete, Xander Cage, who was forced to become a government agent. However, the 2015 version didn't feature Diesel but in the upcoming one, Xander Cage has returned.
On the other hand, Deepika is set to show her acting skills in Hollywood as well. The actress created buzz when she posted a photo of her with Diesel with the logo of the movie franchise, "XXX", in the background.
However, Deepika has remained tight-lipped regarding her debut in Hollywood. She had earlier turned down Diesel's offer to share screen space in "Fast and Furious 7", but this time, the actress has bagged the international movie offer.
In 2015, Deepika appeared in three films – "Piku", "Tamasha" and "Bajirao Mastani" – and captured hearts with her phenomenal performance in all these flicks. However, this year, the actress seems to have taken a break from Bollywood movies, as no reports of her signing any film has come to light.
