The Iris 501 smartphone comes packed with popular apps like Hike, Saavn, Asphalt HD game and other exciting apps.

The smartphone's competitive price is very pocket friendly to all middle-class consumers who prefer a cheaper alternative over expensive 5-inch smartphones offered by big brands like Samsung, HTC and other MNCs.

Despite its low price, Lava still has to compete with other Indian companies like Micromax and Karbonn which are offering smartphones and tablets with similar specs.

At present, the Indian tablet and smartphone market is congested with more than 135 MNCs and Indian handset makers vying for the top spot. MNCs Samsung, Nokia and Indian smartphone maker Micromax are ruling the Indian smartphone market.
