Land Rover India lunched the 2016 Range Rover Evoque for Rs 47.1 lakh, ex-showroom Mumbai, (pre octroi).

The launch price includes a three-year, 100,000km warranty support. The company has already got 125 bookings for the SUV.

 One of the highest selling models of Land Rover, the new Evoque gets a tweaked front bumper that now houses larger intake, new grille designs, all-LED headlamps and new alloy wheel design.

The new Evoque will be available in four trims in India.

Range Rover Evoque Pure: Rs 47.1 lakh

Range Rover Evoque SE: Rs 52.9 lakh

Range Rover Evoque HSE: 57.7 lakh

Range Rover Evoque HSE Dynamic: Rs 63.2 lakh (all prices ex-showroom, Mumbai).

The interior changes include new seats and door casings, new infotainment system accessed via an eight-inch touch screen, new colour and materials.

The new Range Rover Evoque features a hands-free tailgate function, head up display (HUD), surround camera System, 825 Watts Meridian surround sound system 17 speakers and rear seat entertainment package.

The 2016 Range Rover Evoque continues to be powered by the in-line four cylinders, 2,179cc diesel engine that develops 187.7bhp of power and 420Nm of torque mated to nine-speed automatic transmission sending power to all four wheels. The SUV required 8.5 seconds to run from 0-100kmph before topping out at 195kmph.

One of the notable additions in the 2016 model Range Rover Evoque is the introduction of All-Terrain Progress Control (ATPC). The ATPC allows a driver to input a desired speed without any pedal inputs once the brake is released. The system continuously monitors and adjusts the vehicle settings to optimise traction and maintain progress in all terrains.

The 2016 Range Rover Evoque will be assembled at the manufacturer's Pune facility.
