Lady Gaga Suffers Wardrobe Malfunction During Filming in NYC: What Went Wrong?

Lady Gaga had an embarrassing moment over the weekend when she suffered a wardrobe malfunction while filming in New York City.

Gaga accidentally flashed her boob while changing in the back seat of a car on 28 February. Gaga's wardrobe malfunction, which occurred when the yellow fur shawl she was using to cover her breasts while removing her frock slipped. Gaga was quick to realise she had exposed more than she intended and quickly covered her exposed boob with her hand.

It is still a mystery as to why the singer opted to change in the back of a well-lit car while cameras were rolling. In the meantime, speculations are rife that the 28-year-old Gaga could have been filming for the next season of "American Horror Story", which will be centred on a hotel.

Sharing her excitement at being part of the show to her more than 44.6 million fans, Gaga wrote on Twitter: "I am so excited to be a part of American Horror Story's hardworking cast. A twisted fantasy. My favorite kind."

As for Gaga's wardrobe malfunction, the singer-cum-actress is not new to fashion faux pas. Gaga has received a lot of criticism for her weird and often revealing costumes, but she has not let negativity hold her down for long.

On being asked by Glamour if her crazy costumes act as a mask to hide her insecurity, Gaga replied in the affirmative.

"I would say that I am [insecure]. Maybe it's from the things I experienced in my past, you know? Being beautiful is not so fun when you're in a business with all men," she said, according to TooFab.

"It can actually get in the way. So in some ways, the outfits—these creations are because I don't want to face the reality of what people want from a female pop star. Everybody always laughs because I feel so much more comfortable with, like, a giant paper bag on my whole body and paint on my face. Sometimes I try really hard to take it all off. But inevitably what's underneath is still not a straight edge. And I don't think it ever will be."
