Lady Gaga Looks Obese in Bikini; Gains 30 Pounds [PHOTOS]

Pop singer Lady Gaga hits the headlines every time she steps out of her room for her bizarre dressing sense, but this time, she is in the news for weight gain. She looks obese in a bikini in her latest photo.

The 26-year-old "Born This Way" singer has been criticized from various quarters of late for gaining weight.

Lady Gaga showed off her bikini body on Friday as she shined in a metallic Miller Lite two-piece that she accessorized with gold hoops and a navy bandana. She was relaxing on a poolside in San Juan, Puerto Rico with pals DJ White Shadow and her make-up artist, Tara Savelo, reported E! Online.

She revealed in an interview to Stylist UK last week that she has gained weight but don't care much about it.

"I've realised I don't have to do very much anymore but make music, because my fans do it all for me. They carry the message so far. Ever since they saw how much Born This Way could affect people, they wanted to do more and have that sort of space of kindness and compassion. I was acutely aware of some photos on the internet - my mum called me and was like, "Did you gain weight?" - everybody was telling me about it, and I didn't really care," she said when asked about her 'Body Revolution'.

"I thought, well I don't really care if they think I'm fat, because, quite honestly, I did gain about 30 pounds. Adele is bigger than me, how come nobody says anything about it? She's so wonderful and I think her confidence is something I have to match. She has set the bar very high for a lot of woman. I need to be a confident woman and just say politically active things when I can that are helpful to young people," she added.

The "Poker Face" singer is known for her weird dresses including the attires she called bubbles, fish nets, boob sparklers and by other such names. She hit the headlines a few years ago by attending the MTV Video Music Awards in a dress made of raw meat drawing criticism from several quarters.
