After the 6-1 demolition of Galatasaray, where Cristiano Ronaldo grabbed himself a hat-trick, Real Madrid look to get back to winning ways in La Liga with a game against Getafe on Sunday.

Real were disappointing against Villarreal last weekend in the Spanish league, but put that behind them with a brilliant second half performance against Galatasaray in the Champions League.

Carlo Ancelotti is slowly but surely stamping his authority in this Real side with the Italian confident of a positive result against Getafe at the Bernabeu.

"We have a clear style of play in mind and I am pleased with my team but against Getafe we have to play with a lot of intensity from the start," Ancelotti said. "At the start of the last few games, we haven't played with a lot of intensity and tomorrow (Sunday) gives us the opportunity to go out and play with a lot of intensity from the start. We particularly have to improve that aspect of our play."

Ronaldo was at his usual best against the Turkish side in midweek and Ancelotti was all praise for the Portuguese superstar.

"He is a fantastic professional and he is very much focused at training both before and after. He is a fine example for the rest and especially for the young players. He has a loft of quality and professionalism," Ancelotti said while adding that Ronaldo would be the chief freekick taker, despite Gareth Bale's arrival.

"Cristiano Ronaldo has a lot of quality and skill. Bale can take the odd freekick here and there and so too can (Angel) Di María. Cristiano will be the main man and the others are behind him in the pecking order."

Real are already playing catchup and cannot afford another slip up with Barcelona going five points clear and maintaining their 100 percent record with an assured 4-0 win over Rayo Vallecano. Atletico Madrid also made it five from five with a 2-0 win over Real Valladolid.

Team News: Raphael Varane, Marcelo and Fabio Coentrao will not feature for Real along with long-term absentee Xabi Alonso, while Iker Casillas also misses out after picking up an injury in the Champions League.
