CBS' award-winning sitcom, The Big Bang Theory is finally going to end after season 12. Fans of the hit sitcom are sharing their Big Bang Theory memories and are accepting the fact that there will be no season 13. Kunal Nayyar recently talked about the decision to end The Big Bang Theory and how the climax is going to affect him in more ways than one.

CBS and Warner Bros. mutually decided to end The Big Bang Theory after season 12 because Jim Parsons was ready to walk away from it. On one hand, several fans agree that the Emmy Award-winning actor deserved to walk away after playing Dr Sheldon Cooper for 12 straight years. But there are many who are still in the midst to process the news.

Kunal Nayyar, who plays a particle astrophysicist Rajesh Koothrappali in TBBT, recently talked about his character's future in the show and how he is coming to terms with The Big Bang Theory's fast approaching conclusion.

During the 6th Annual Ping Pong 4 Purpose charity fundraiser in Los Angeles, Nayyar told Entertainment Weekly that he is sad and since the news of show's sudden ending came earlier on Wednesday, he is "still trying to process all of it."

In Big Bang Theory, Kunal Nayyar plays Raj Koothrappali, Howard Wolowitz's (Simon Helberg) best friend, with whom he shares a bromance. In the earlier episodes, Raj had selective mutism, which did not allow him to speak in front of women unless he is under the influence of alcohol. Over the years, Raj has gone different character changes which are adored by the fans.

The Big Bang Theory's Raj Koothrappali has been the most prominent role of Kunal Nayyar's acting career and there are so memories he will treasure for his entire life.

"I never knew that I would be in a position to change people's lives. Like, 12 years ago, I was like, 'Oh my god! I have a job!' And now, [I'm] in a position where I've been able to change people's lives for the better and make people laugh in a world that is so polarized."

Kunal even talked about the upcoming season 12, saying, "It's going to be the greatest season we're ever gonna do. Actually, the last taping is on my birthday so it's going to be an interesting night."

"[Having the opportunity] to inspire kids to study science, to become astrophysicists and to help people who are sick, whose last wish was to come and spend time with the cast, those things are all the things that I'm going to hold onto really," he added.

The Big Bang Theory season 12 will premiere on September 24 on CBS and will show the exciting life of all the lead characters.
