Salman Khan is making appearances on the television to promote his upcoming film "Prem Ratan Dhan Payo".

After Colors' popular show "Swaragini", Salman will appear on "Kumkum Bhagya", which is currently leading the TRP chart.

The fans are waiting for the union of Abhi (Shabbir Ahluwalia) and Pragya (Sriti Jha), the lead couple of the show. The current track shows Abhi fighting with Pragya because of her changed behaviour and attitude. And, Salman will try to mend things between Abhi and Pragya and bring them closer.

"The current storyline sees Aaliya (Shikha Singh) hiring a psychotic killer to murder Pragya (Sriti Jha). On the other hand, Pragya is busy trying to plot something, which can expose Tanu's (Leena Jumani) reality. Salman will be seen shooting for the Diwali special episode where he will try to mend Abhi (Shabbir Ahluwalia) and Pragya's relationship and bring some happiness into their life," India-forums.com quoted a source as saying.

Leena Jumani, who plays the role of Tanu in the show, confirmed the reports. She futher said that she is excited to shoot the Diwali special episode with Salman.

"Yes, we will be shooting with the star this evening or tomorrow morning. Like every other girl, I too am a big fan of Salman and for now I am just excited to meet him," she added.

"Kumkum Bhagya" is currently leading the TRP chart, followed by Star Plus' "Saath Nibhana Saathiya" at the second position, Zee Anmol's "Ek Se Bhale Do" at the third, "Yeh Hai Mohabbatein" at the fourth, while "Sasural Simar Ka" rounds up the top five positions.
