Television actress Kanchi Kaul and husband Shabbir Ahluwalia, popular for his turn as Abhi in "Kumkum Bhagya," have become proud parents once again.
Kanchi delivered a baby boy at a Mumbai hospital on Thursday (Feb.18), Bollywood Life reports. The couple has a son, Azai, who was born in 2014.
A few days ago, Kanchi was spotted at Salman Khan's sister Arpita Khan's baby shower where the pregnant ladies â€" Kanchi, Arpita and Genelia Deshmukh â€" posed for some adorable pictures. Kanchi's close friends from the TV industry also surprised her with a baby shower recently. The gorgeous actress had shared some of her baby-shower pictures on Instagram.
Both Kanchi and Shabbir were hoping for a girl to complete their family. "Though I'm busy shooting for my show 'Kumkum Bhagya', I ensure that I make time to play with my son, Azai. He waits for me to wrestle with him when I return. Till now, Kanchi has been fulfilling the responsibilities of both the father and mother. I'm hoping that our second child will be a girl, (sic)" the Times of India had quoted the TV actor as saying.
Shabbir took to his Twitter handle to share his moment of joy. "Proud big brother Azai, would like to introduce his new partner in crime that will forever share the blame boy it is, thank you god (sic)," he tweeted.
