The viewers of "Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi" are devastated by the Dev (Shaheer Sheikh) and Sonakshi's (Erica Fernandes) breakup, after the former's mother, Ishwari (Supriya Pilgaonkar) disapproved of his marriage with Sonakshi. While the audience is hoping for a reunion soon, it appears like the makers are in no mood for it.
In the ongoing track, Dev is seen heartbroken post his breakup, while Sonakshi has decided to move on in her life although she still loves Dev deeply.
Meanwhile, in the upcoming episodes, Jay Soni will enter the show as parallel lead and will be seen essaying the role of Ritwick, who will eventually fall in love with Sonakshi. Sonakshi's family would meet Ritwick and would insist her on getting married to him and lead a blissful life ahead, Bollywood Life reported.
The report said that Ritwick would learn about Sonakshi and Dev's breakup and would make sure Sonakshi got over her past. Both Ritwick and Sonakshi would eventually come closer to each other. Unfortunately, Dev would learn about the new man in Sonakshi's life. A devastated Dev would then take to drinking. Not just that, the makers have stored a huge twist in the storyline when Sonakshi would agree to marry Ritwick.

Meanwhile, Shaheer and Erica were in news recently when rumours of them dating each other surfaced. Apparently, the actors spend a lot of time together on the sets, which eventually sparked the dating rumours.
However, Shaheer denied the reports, claiming that relationship and marriage are not on his mind as of now. "Erica is fun, but I am not dating her. People assume that we are dating because we spend a lot of time together on the set. I don't intend to get into a relationship and marriage is not in the pipeline for another couple of years," he had told the Times of India.
