One of the highly anticipated films of 2026 has been Cocktail 2, and for months, there have been several leaks from the set that showed Shahid Kapoor shirtless while Kriti Sanon flaunted her legs and hourglass figure in bralettes and skirts.
On Sunday, an event of the Cocktail 2 team was held at a premium restobar in Mumbai and was attended by Shahid Kapoor, Kriti Sanon, Rashmika Mandanna, producers Dinesh Vijan and Luv Ranjan, director Homi Adajania and music director Pritam Chakraborty. Two unreleased songs were premiered at the event, 'Mashooka', featuring Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon, and 'Tujhko', featuring Shahid and Rashmika Mandanna.

Several videos from the song launch have gone viral, primarily showing Rashmika and Kriti's bond and how the girls were having fun on stage. During the event, the trio had fun with each other on stage and bantered with the host and media.

At the event, Shahid Kapoor said, "I am very fortunate to have worked with these two amazing actresses, superstars and beautiful ladies who are extremely professional and in the absolute prime of their careers. Both have given spectacular performances and look amazing. That's why my character, Kunal, can't decide who to go with. That's what the film is all about."
He added, "With Rashmika, this is my first film. But it never felt so. Whenever we got into any shot, we never even discussed what we were going to do. I just loved that she was all up for spontaneity."
Rashmika Mandanna added, "I fully agree. Every time we were working on a scene together, somehow, spontaneously, we would come up with aftertakes. There'll be one extra 'tichka' that we would give, and we would not see it coming. We would even rehearse. That's why the chemistry was magical."
Kriti Sanon remarked, "You guys have such cute chemistry. It is adorable." Then she asked the mediapersons, "Guys, how did you like their chemistry? Isn't it super-cute?"
Rashmika praised the duo and said, "We have definitely known for a while that you guys have something magical. But something in Cocktail 2 is so different." Pointing at Kriti, she said, "You look hot; the world knows that. And you are f**king hot."
Rashmika immediately clarified to the media, "Oh, sorry! Censor kar dena. I didn't say that!" She then rephrased and remarked, "She's amazing. Look at her."
Amid several clips going viral, one video shows Shahid Kapoor trying to place his hand on Rashmika Mandanna's shoulder, but Rashmika immediately removed Shahid's hand and pushed him away. Meanwhile, another man standing beside Rashmika was comfortably keeping his hand on her shoulder, and Rashmika appeared completely comfortable with it. Netizens are now questioning why Rashmika reacted differently to Shahid.
Meanwhile, chatter around Shahid's height has also gone viral on social media. Many users claimed Rashmika wore 3-5 inch heels to look taller, while Shahid also appeared to wear elevated footwear. Despite wearing flat shoes, Kriti appeared taller than both Shahid and Rashmika in several clips. Many Redditors were of the view that this is what irked Shahid and could possibly be one of the reasons behind reports of animosity between the trio, along with claims that Shahid was unhappy with his role and the maximum screen time allegedly being given to Rashmika and Kriti.
The makers have revealed that the trailer of Cocktail 2 will be out on May 29, 2026. So, within around 10 days, three assets of Cocktail 2 will be released: two songs and a trailer. Till now, the makers have only launched one song titled Jab Talak, which has received a good response.
