Kristen Bell Hints Secret Marriage to Boyfriend Dax Shepard, Tweets 'Wife' Comment [PHOTOS]

Actress Kristen Bell appears to have secretly married her longtime boyfriend Dax Shepard in a private ceremony. Adding fuel to fire, she also posted a "wife" comment on her Twitter page.

"Wife coffee tastes way better than regular coffee in the morning :) @daxshepard1," tweeted the 33-year-old "Veronica Mars" actress.

Though this is not the first time that the couple has called each other husband and wife, the timing of the tweet carries lots of weightage, as it came just a day after several sections of the media reported that they had married secretly on Thursday.

According to TMZ, which broke the news of the marriage, the couple tied the knot at the Beverly Hills County Clerk Office. Sources told the entertainment website that Kristen and Dax went to the clerk office just to get their marriage license - but when a court employee offered to marry them on the spot, they agreed ... and conducted the ceremony in a nearby courtroom. A photographer too is said to have been present during the ceremony and the actress reportedly couldn't hold back her tears of joy. 

Actors Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard started dating in 2007 before they announced their engagement in 2010. However, they decided to put their marriage on hold until California legalizes same-sex marriage. Bell popped the question to Dax on Twitter after the U.S. Supreme Court ruled the federal Defense of Marriage Act as unconstitutional in June this year.

"@daxshepard1 will you marry me? Xo #marriageequality #loveislove," she had earlier tweeted, to which Dax accepted.

The couple has a daughter together. They welcomed Lincoln Bell Shepard in March this year.
