Ajith to Team up with Harris Jayaraj for the First Time?

Even though the Ajith-Gautham Menon film is yet to go on floors, the buzz surrounding the actor's next project has started to emerge.

According to sources, Ajith is likely to work with KV Anand after completing Gautham's film, reported Cinemalead.

Also, if all goes well, Ajith will team up with music composer Harris Jeyaraj for the first time. It may be recalled that Harris has composed the songs in all of KV Anand's previous films. He is also working with the director in his upcoming release "Anegan".

Anand is likely to retain Harris for his next project as well. And if Ajith indeed takes up the project, it will pave way for the first time combination of Ajith and Harris. All these are speculations and an official confirmation is still awaited in this regard.

It seems the new project will have GV Prakash as the music composer, while Nirav Shah will also be part of the project.

Details about other cast and crew members are expected to be announced soon.

Simran Denies Being Part of "Drishyam" Remake

For the last few weeks, rumours of Simran doing the "Drishyam" remake in Tamil have been doing the rounds.

But the actress has now played down the speculations. In a press statement, the actress said, "I'm not doing any role in any language in any remake of Drishyam, I shall reveal my professional plans to the media at the appropriate time."

"Drishyam", starring Mohanlal and Meena, was the biggest hit in the Malayalam industry last year. The film will now get remade in Tamil and Telugu languages. While Kamal will reportedly do the Tamil version, Venkatesh will be playing the lead role in the Telugu version, which will have Meena reprising her role from the original.

Meanwhile, for the Tamil version, Simran and Nadiya's names have been doing the rounds. Now that Simran has denied doing the film, Nadiya might be the choice to play the female lead opposite Kamal. However, an official confirmation is still awaited in this regard.
