Team Koffee With Karan is lining some very interesting celebrity pairs for its fifth season. After Ranveer Singh and Ranbir Kapoor, it is being reported Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma may share the controversial couch.
Earlier, Kaif was to appear on the show alongside ex-boyfriend Salman Khan, but the superstar picked his brothers — Arbaaz and Sohail — over the Jagga Jasoos actress. However, Sharma and Kaif's pairing isn't bad either; they have worked together in Jab Tak Hai Jaan and share a warm working relationship with each other.
In other news, Kaif has been working hard towards reinventing self. Her last three films — Phantom, Fitoor and Baar Baar Dekho — have tanked at the box office creating quite an alarming situation for her. It is being said, she has decided not to work with young stars and only take offers with senior actors.
What should one expect from the Sharma and Kaif episode?
Because host Karan Johar is almost always interested in his guests' love lives, he may just grill the leading ladies about their former and existing boyfriends. Sharma is currently seeing Kohli and Kaif has gotten out of a bitter breakup earlier this year.
In other news, Shah Rukh Khan-Alia Bhatt, Akshay Kumar-Twinkle Khanna, Farah Khan-Sania Mirza, Shahid Kapoor-Mira Rajput Kapoor, Parineeti Chopra-Aditya Roy Kapur and Kapil Sharma have already shot for their episodes, of which some have been aired.
