Ever since Karan Johar announced that he will soon be back with the new season of his famous chat show "Koffee With Karan," viewers have eagerly been waiting for it to go on air.
While rumours had it that the first episode would see Karan's close friend Shah Rukh Khan as the guest, the latest buzz is that "Koffee With Karan 5" will open with current Bollywood heartthrob Fawad Khan. Fawad is not just winning hearts with his good looks, but also because of his impressive acting skills.
Such is the craze for Fawad that many A-list actresses including Deepika Padukone and Alia Bhatt have apparently requested Karan to be interviewed along with the Pakistani actor. While Fawad had shared screen space with Alia in "Kapoor and Sons," he walked the ramp with Deepika for designer Manish Malhotra at India Couture Week 2016. While it remains to be seen who finally gets to take the seat next to the Pakistani heartthrob, the episode will surely see Fawad revealing some interesting details of his life.
"Koffee With Karan," which started in 2004, is known for its controversial questions and answers and the witty rapid fire round. Some reports suggest that Karan has planned to make the upcoming season of "Koffee With Karan" spicier and more interesting. So viewers can expect a lot of controversial answers from their favourite Bollywood stars. "Koffee With Karan" Season 5 is expected to go on air by September or October this year.
Meanwhile, Fawad will next be seen in Karan's directorial venture "Ae Dil Hai Mushkil," alongside Ranbir Kapoor, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Anushka Sharma. The film is slated to release on Oct.28.
