Guwahati, Feb 04 (ANI): The Krishak Mukti Sangram Samiti (KMSS), a peasant organization based in Assam, on Wednesday staged a protest against the Bharatiya Janata Party, expressing its disapproval towards the 'vision document' printed by the party for the upcoming Delhi assembly elections, which referred to people hailing from the North-East as ' immigrants'. Akhil Gogoi, General Secretary of the KMSS led the protest with hundreds of supporters following him, carrying banners which read 'Modi ji, change your mindset' and 'We oppose BJP's vision NE people as foreigners'. Earlier in the day, BJP on Wednesday expressed regret for the alleged typing error in the 'vision document' for the upcoming Delhi Assembly elections, which resulted in the referring of the people hailing from the North-East as ' immigrants '.
