The world-famous model, and the mother to three of Sean "Diddy" Combs' children, Kim Porter, has passed away at the age of 47.
As per reports, Kim Porter was found unresponsive at her Los Angeles home, where paramedics pronounced her dead. As of now, the cause of her untimely death is not clear, and an autopsy will soon be performed. A statement was later released by the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Office that confirmed that the news of Porter's death.
Diddy's publicist Cyndi Berger confirmed in a statement, "Sadly, I can confirm the passing of Kim Porter. I ask that you give the families privacy at this time."
Kim Porter dated acclaimed American rapper, Diddy, on and off from 1994 to 2007 and as a couple, they had three children, Christian, and twins Jessie James and D'Lila. Apart from them, Kim Porter also had a 27-year-old son from her previous marriage.
Keeping aside her modelling career, Kim Porter was also famous for her films and several television appearances, including roles in The Brothers and the Wicked Wicked Game.
After the news of Kim Porter's death surfaced, many celebrities and her famous friends have shared their condolences on their respective social media handles. Celebrities like Rihanna, 50 Cent, Kevin Hart, Missy Elliott, and others have been paying tribute to her.
Rihanna wrote: "We lost a real one today, beautiful inside and out. So many will be affected by this, some won't even know why...but the whole world was graced by the vibrance in your spirit. My deepest condolences to the ones that were blessed enough to know, meet, and love her! Such a special soul man! This don't even feel real! May God comfort and protect her children and loved ones! RIP."
Drake, on the other hand, captained an Instagram photo, which shows Kim Porter attending one of his previous concerts.
Nicky Minaj also reacted to Kim Porter's death, and wrote, "The most heartbreaking news. My condolences to your children, family & friends. Sending love to Puff as well, I can't even imagine what you must be going through. Gone way too soon. Rest in Peace, Queen."
