North Korean Leader Kim Jong-un's ex-girlfriend who was believed to have be executed by the leader last year, was shown speaking at a national meeting of artists in Pyongyang recently –repelling all rumors that comes out of the reclusive country.

Hyong Song Wol, a singer with an all-female band, was reported to be one of over a dozen people executed in August last year by firing squad. The leader's ex-girlfriend had reportedly performed in pornographic videos sold in China.

But the 'dead' first lady of the notorious communist regime was shown on Saturday in a video uploaded by a channel claiming to be the 'official channel of DPRK Music'.

The video taken from the National broadcaster, shows Hyong Song Wol speaking on 16th of May where she thanked Kim for his support of the arts, according to the channel that uploaded the clip.

"In 2013, a lot of western media reported false information about the alleged murder of Hyon Song Wol, former singer of Pochonbo Electronic Ensemble and Wangjaesan Light Music Band," the YouTube video's description read.

"A millions (sic) of people believed that our government kills every single person for almost everything. Today, we're giving you a proof that Hyon Song Wol is ALIVE and that nobody was killed," it said adding: "See how you are being manipulated by western media and south Korean puppet regime, who is still giving false information about Democratic People's Repulic (sic) of Korea.

"Truth will always win. No matter when. 16th May 2014, Comrade yon Song Wol gave a speech during National Meeting of Artists in Pyongyang, Democratic People's Republic of Korea."

Her execution had first been reported by Chosun Ilbo, a South Korean newspaper known for its aggressive anti-communist views and strong criticisms of North Korea. Since the report of her alleged execution first appeared, the authenticity of the story has been debated.

Many analysts were of the view that the execution of the alleged pornography actresses did take place, but Hyon was no among the defendants.

Hyon, known to have a captivating voice, reportedly dated the 30-year-old Kim Jong Un when he was in his early 20s. However, he married Ri Sol Ju, another former member of the same 'Unhasu orchestra' where Hyong belonged to.
