Social media is abuzz with the news that the makers of Yash's much-awaited movie KGF have locked in the date for its trailer. The rumours were rife that the clip will be out on August 25.
However, the rumours have been laid to rest by Karthik Gowda, the executive producer of KGF. "The official date of the trailer will be told in a few days from now. Dont believe the date which bas been making the rounds. Hombale films will announce the date officially [sic]," he tweeted.
The fans of Yash, who have been desperately waiting for the trailer release of his much-awaited film KGF, were happy when the rumours surfaced about the date being finalised for its trailer release. Unfortunately, the delay in the announcement has let them fuming again.
So far, the makers have closely guarded the content and promos. Apart from the first look, only a teaser, which breached 5 million hits recently on YouTube, has been released.
Prashanth Neel of Ugramm fame has written and directed KGF. The movie has been predominantly shot in Kolar, Bengaluru and Mysuru. It is a period drama set in the 70s and early 80s.
Yash enacts the role of Rocky and Srinidhi Shetty will be seen in the female lead. Ananth Nag, Vasishta N Simha, Beesu Suresh, Nassar, Srinivas Murthy and others are in the cast.
