Actress Keerthy Suresh will play the female lead opposite Sundeep Kishan in the Telugu remake of Malayalam movie "Neram."
Earlier, Ashna Zaveri of "Inimey Ippadithan" fame was considered for the female lead character.
The film directed by Anil Kanneganti was earlier released as bilingual in Malayalam and Tamil in May 2013. Both versions -- titled as "Neram" -- had Nivin Pauly, Nazriya Nazim and Bobby Simha in the key roles.
The movie was also remade in Marathi as "Time Bara Vait" starring Bhushan Pradhan, Satish Rajwade, Nidhi Oza and Vishwajeet Pradhan. It was released on 19 June 2015.
The yet-to-be-titled Telugu movie, which is produced by Sudhakar Cherukuri under the banner of Pixel Dreams India, will go on floors on 12 December.
