Hyderabad, June 02 (ANI): Following the birth of India's 29th state Telangana, TRS Chief KC Rao was sworn in as the first Chief Minister of the state on Monday. His party TRS had earlier won the mandate by winning 62 of the 119 seats in the newly formed Telangana Assembly. Rao will head a cabinet of 11 ministers which also include his son and nephew. Before taking oath Rao paid floral tribute to Telangana Martyrs at Gun Park in Hyderabad. Earlier ESL Narasimhan was administered oath as the first Governor of the newly born state.
