Jorhat, Nov 02 (ANI): Kaziranga National Park in Assam, which is home to the largest number of one-horned rhinos has been reopened for the visitors. Forest minister of Assam Rockybul Hussain inaugurated the re-opening by cutting the ribbon amid prayers and rituals. Hussain also flagged off the first batch of elephant safari of 13 elephants for a group of tourists from countries like Australia, United States and United Kingdom. Hussain also urged the people to be more committed for the conservation and protection of the rich bio-diversity of the park and help in maintaining its natural beauty. The Kaziranga National Park is a World Heritage Site, the park hosts two-thirds of the world's great one horned rhinoceroses.
