Jiiva's latest Tamil movie Kavalai Vendam, written and directed by Deekay and produced by Elred Kumar, was released on Thursday, November 24.
Kajal Aggarwal has romanced Jiiva in Kavalai Vendam, which also stars Bobby Simha and Shruthi Ramakrishnan in important roles, and RJ Balaji, Karunakaran, Bala Saravanan and Sunaina in key supporting roles.
Kavalai Vendam is a romantic comedy, in which Jiiva plays the role of a chef named Arvind. Kajal Aggarwal will be seen as an independent and bold woman Divya, who works in a corporate house. They are childhood sweethearts and their romantic story is narrated from the point of view of present-day youths. How their relationship grows from time to time is told with a lot of humour.
The film features Abinandhan Ramanujam's cinematography, and TS Suresh's editing. Music has been composed by Leon James, and Un Kaadhal Irundal Podhum and Nee Tholaindhaayo songs from the album have already turned out to be hits.
