Bollywood actress Katrina Kaif is currently leading the list of top Bollywood actresses as she is, after all, the one who has bagged movies with all the three Khans in the same year. Besides starring with Tiger Zinda Hai with Salman Khan and Aanand L Rai's movie with Shah Rukh Khan, Kat will also reunite with Aamir Khan in Thugs of Hindostan.
The shooting of Thugs of Hindostan is said to have begun and the lead actors — Aamir Khan, Amitabh Bachchan and Fatima Sana Sheikh — have joined the team. But Katrina's absence from the shoot has raised eyebrows.
Before you come to some bizarre conclusion, let us spill the beans. Katrina is still a part of the film, but she is missing because she has nothing to do with the current shooting schedule, DNA reported.
"Bachchan, Aamir and Fatima are the warring thugs in the film, and two ships have been specially built for the shoot. Katrina is playing a dancer and she is not required for this shoot. She will finish shooting for Tiger Zinda Hai and then join the team of Thugs of Hindostan," a source told the daily.
Katrina will play the role of a dancer in Thugs of Hindostan. She has earlier shown her dance moves in movies like Agneepath, Baar Baar Dekho and Tees Maar Khan. Kat had played a dancer's role in Dhoom 3 alongside Aamir and now, the duo will reunite in their upcoming war film.
Thugs of Hindostan is set during the pre-Independence India (during the 1830s) and will showcase the lives of the notorious thugs who used to torture and murder travellers for their valuables. It is set to be released during Diwali 2018.
