Katie Holmes celebrates her 37th birthday on Friday, 18 December, 2015. But it looks like the actress has started the celebrations a bit early this year. Suri's mother decided to have dinner with her close friends on 17 December in New York City, leaving fans to speculate if she has something special planned for the big day with rumoured boyfriend Jamie Foxx.
Holmes shared a photo from the dinner on her Instagram, where she is posing with chef Mario Batali. She captioned the snapshot: "Awesome birthday at #beautyandessex with great friends!"
"Katie and her friends were in the Vault Room at B&E and the restaurant served some of their signature items. They just served milk and cookies instead of the butterscotch dessert. Zac Posen was there," a source told E!.
Well, Tom Cruise's ex-wife has already treated her friends for the birthday and so, fans are speculating that maybe the actress has plans to spend a quiet birthday with Jamie Foxx, whom she has been linked with since 2013.
In fact, only recently Katie Holmes helped Jamie ring in his 48th birthday on 12 December. The "Django Unchained" actor and his rumoured girlfriend spent time together on his birthday in New York, having a bash with pals Alicia Keys and Jennifer Hudson at Le Bilboquet.
Given that Katie was all there for Jamie to make his day so special and happening, it's not surprising that speculations are running wild that Jamie Foxx may also have planned a birthday surprise in return.
There have been various reports on the Internet which suggest that Foxx and Holmes have been secretly dating for the past two years and that the actress really loves Jamie.
"Katie is so in love. She is all about Jamie. She always gushes about how amazing he is and the joy he brings into the world," a source told US Magazine.
"She once even put on a wig and hat to meet him at a hotel in Los Angeles," the source added.
Well, now we have to wait and see if Jamie Foxx will actually host a birthday bash for Katie Holmes or if the rumoured couple will make it a quiet affair.
