Vijay-Samantha starrer "Kaththi" has grossed over ₹70 crore at the worldwide box office.

"Kaththi" is doing exceptional business overseas in key markets like US. In the US, the film has become the first non-Rajinikanth, non-Kamal Haasan film to cross $5,00,000 mark.

It has minted $570,207 in six days including Tuesday premiere shows and has currently been placed at sixth spot in the list of highest grossing Tamil films at the US box office. The first five spots are dominated by Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan films. It will be interesting to see if "Kaththi" will be able break into the top five list of highest grossers.

"#Kaththi Sunday USA Gross 56391, total $570,207. Congrats #MMMedia @GKMediaUSA -wish by next weekend it becomes #1 in 2014 and #5 all time," tweeted ATMUS Entertainment, distributors of Tamil films in the US.
