Srinagar, July 13 (ANI): Kashmir on Sunday observed a shutdown to observe the anniversary of July 13, 1931- a major uprising against the Dogra monarchy. Separatist Hurriyat Conference leaders called for strike in a bid to pay homage to the 22 Kashmiri youth who were killed on that day, which is also observed as a state holiday. All shops, business establishments, educational institutions, government offices were closed as market wore a deserted look. Armed security personnel were seen patrolling on the street of Srinagar.
