Karwa Chauth 2026 was observed on Thursday, October 29. On this day, married women observe a fast from sunrise to moonrise and pray for the long life, good health, and prosperity of their husbands. Just like every year, Anil Kapoor's wife, Sunita Kapoor, hosted a grand Karwa Chauth utsav, which was attended by several Bollywood celebrities. Shahid Kapoor's wife Mira Rajput, Ayushmann Khurrana's wife Tahira Kashyap, Varun Dhawan's wife Natasha Dalal, Mini Mathur, Padmini Kolhapure, Neelam Kothari, Chunky Panday's wife Bhavana Pandey, Farah Khan, Javed Akhtar and Maheep Kapoor, among others, attended the annual ritual.
Most of the celebs arrived in traditional red outfits and posed for the paparazzi outside the Kapoor residence.
However, the highlight this year was Aamir Khan and Gauri Spratt, who got married earlier this year and are celebrating their first Karwa Chauth together. The couple was seen arriving hand in hand at Sunita Kapoor's house. The actor kept it simple in a black-and-blue kurta set, while Gauri opted for a beautiful royal blue Banarasi suit set.
While Aamir opted for a blue bandhani kurta, a clip showed Gauri and Aamir sitting inside the car, with Gauri hiding her face from the paparazzi so they wouldn't capture her.
Shilpa Shetty looked stunning as she wore an ombre pink saree paired with an emerald green blouse. She flaunted her minimal mehendi. Raj Kundra wore a red kurta and covered his head.
Anshula Kapoor, sister of actor Arjun Kapoor, is also celebrating her first Karwa Chauth. The new bride looked gorgeous in a sindoor-red outfit. Chooda, sindoor and golden jewellery completed her look.
Mira Kapoor looked elegant in a golden saree with a mirror border, while Riddhima Kapoor Sahni attended in a pink lehenga. Natasha Dalal arrived in a dusty pink satin co-ord set with a satin dupatta.
Priyanka Chopra Jonas celebrated from Los Angeles, sharing glimpses of her mehendi featuring the names of Nick Jonas and daughter Malti Marie. Kiara Advani also celebrated Karwa Chauth. She took to Instagram and shared adorable mehendi moments for her husband, Sidharth Malhotra.
