The Karnakata Pre-University Course (PUC) 2nd Year result 2016 is reportedly expected to be announced on May 18, Wednesday. The class 12 marks will be published online at the official website of the Karnataka Secondary Education Examination Board (KSEEB) when declared.

As many as eight lakh students appeared for Karnataka 2nd PUC examinations conducted this year, India Today reported.

Students can check their class 12 board result on the official website of KSEEB — kseeb.kar.nic.in  and karresults.nic.in. They need to enter their PUC 2nd year exam registration number to get access to the result online.

Result will also be published on the website of Jagran Josh, which also allows students to register their contact number, email ID, name, roll number and other related information for updates on the result through SMS or email.

Students need to collect the physical copies of their result from their respective pre-univerities, as the KSEEB recognises it as the original mark sheet.

More than six lakh students had reportedly taken the PUC 2nd Year examination in Karnataka last year. The state recorded a pass percentage of 60.54. The pass percentage of girls (68.24) was higher than that of boys (53.09).
