Kareena Kapoor, Other Bollywood Celebrities Attend Mid Day Trophy Race [PHOTOS]

Bollywood actress Kareena Kapoor was the guest of honour for the Mid Day Trophy race, which took place at the Mahalaxmi racetrack in Mumbai on Saturday.

Kareena distributed trophies to the winners of the race. Other celebrities seen at the event were Tusshar Kapoor, who presented the trophy to the trainer of the winner, Daisy Shah, Gulshan Grover, VJ Andy, Hazel Keech and Terrence Lewis among others.

The 33-year-old actress wore a stunning Ashish N Soni dress paired with Prada shoes. She topped her look with light make-up and a neat ponytail.

Kareena expressed pleasure for being invited as a special guest for the first time in a glamour racing event. "This is my first visit to the racecourse, and I can't describe how immensely I have enjoyed it "Thank you MiD Day for giving me this opportunity to be here today. I have enjoyed this every bit." Mid Day quoted her as saying.

The winner of the race was 'First And Only One', owned by Dr Cyrus Poonawalla and his son Adar. After receiving the trophy from Kareena, Dr Cyrus said, "I dedicate this trophy to the memory of my beloved wife Villoo, who was the 'first and only one' love of my life, that's why I named this filly First And Only One."
