National-Award winning Bollywood Filmmaker Madhur Bhandarkar is known for giving a reality touch to his films by incorporating real-life incidents and characters. His films are not only catchy and well-presented but extensively researched at the same time.

His upcoming film “Heroine” is no exception to his trademark style. It is said to be one of the most ambitious projects of the director.

Just like his other reality-inspired films like “Fashion”, “Page 3”, “Chandni Bar” and “Corporate", “Heroine” will also feature some real instances.
The filmmaker has embedded an episode from actress Preity Zinta’s life in the film.

Apparently, Zinta is known to have donned a burqa on several occasions in public to escape the media glare. She was reportedly seen watching Sharukh Khan’s film “Chak De India” in a cinema theater, wearing a burqa.

When Bhandarkar came to know about it he thought it was a great idea to include it into his film. Since "Heroine" is based on the life of movie stars in today's world of Bollywood, the incident will be apt with its theme and story line.

"Madhur came to know about this and decided to portray it in his film,” NDTV quoted a source as saying. “He thought of it as a nice idea."

The film will apparently include the burqa sequence, where lead actress Kareena Kappor, who is playing the character of Bollywood starlet “Mahi Arora”, will be seen doing the cover-up act just like Zinta does in real life.

The film is slated to release on Sept 21. Meanwhile, it’s official promo and two new songs have been released.
