Karbonn Titanium S1 Plus Available Online Now; Price, Availability Details

Popular smartphone maker Karbonn's new smartphone, dubbed Titanium S1 Plus, is now available online with a price tag of ₹5,700.

S1 Plus, the latest addition to the Titanium series, is yet to be launched in the country through official channels. However, the smartphone is available via online retailer Saholic. The website has listed both black and white variants of the smartphone.

Titanium S1 Plus sports a 4-inch display with a WVGA (480x800 pixels) resolution and is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core processor, coupled with 1GB RAM. The handset packs 4GB internal storage, which is further expandable by upto 32GB with microSD card, and comes loaded with a 1,500mAh battery.

It houses a 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 0.3-megapixel front-facing camera. On the connectivity front, the phone supports GPRS/ EDGE, FM radio, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 3G and GPS.

Earlier this week, Karbonn had announced that the company will sell its flagship six-core handset Titanium Hexa in India, through Amazon. Hexa, the first local handset to be powered by Hexa-core processor, sports a 5.5-inch full HD (1920x1080p) screen, 2GB RAM, a 13.0-megapixel rear camera and a 5.0-megapixel front camera.

In March, Karbonn Mobiles announced three Titanium series smartphones - Hexa, Octane and Octane Plus. The Hexa, the first local smartphone to boast six-core based CPU, sports a 5.5-inch full HD (1920x1080p) screen, 2GB RAM, a 13.0-megapixel main camera, a 5.0-megapixel front camera and standard connectivity features like Bluetooth v4.0, Wi-Fi and GPS for navigation.

Octane and Octane Plus, on the other hand, are powered by 1.7GHz MediaTek-based MT6592 chipset couple with 2GB RAM, 16GB inbuilt storage and a 2000 mAh battery. Other features of the smartphones remain the same as Hexa.
