Bangalore based smartphone maker Karbonn has launched a new budget Android smartphone A2+ for ₹4990.

Karbonn A2+ sports 4.0-inch WVGA display with 480x800p resolution and runs on the Android mobile OS v4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich powered by a 1GHz processor with 256 Ram and 02MB internal memory with options of expanding up to 32GB.

The budget smartphone also houses dual cameras - 3.0-megapixel main camera at the rear side and VGA camera at the front.

It is to be noted that Karbonn A2+ is one of the very few handful smartphones in the market to run on the Android Ice Cream Sandwich OS which are priced below the ₹5,000 mark.

Karbonn A2+ is currently available at online stores Flipkart.com and Infibeam.com for ₹4,990
