Karan Aujla has landed himself in a soup. The Punjabi singer-rapper, known for songs like "Tauba Tauba," has been accused of allegedly cheating on his wife. An Instagram influencer has accused Karan of allegedly hiding his marital status and trying to get into a private relationship with her. She has added that even his team was involved in hiding this.
What the influencer claims
The influencer with the username Ms Gori Music has claimed that she was in a relationship with the singer, unaware of him being married.
"I work in Hollywood film and was silenced and publicly shamed after a private relationship with Karan Aujla, which I entered without knowing he was married," she told an Instagram page called 'Abhishek Media.'
Ms Gori Music has also alleged that Aujla's team then contacted another influencer to cover it all up.
"Aujla's team then reached out to an influencer to share false information to cover it all up," she added.
Gori also said that she would come onto the page soon to reveal it all with more context. The singer with 25,000 followers has since been sharing quotes and statements about the matter.
Tried to be silenced
"This year has taught me a lot about being lied about in the media. It's made me realize how much my voice matters, and how many men and women are silenced globally," she wrote mentioning how other influencers are being asked to share misinformation to hide the whole thing.
The US-based singer has accused Aujla and his team of trying to shame and silence her, but she is not ready to back down.
"Police in Canada and the US are looking at it. False criminal allegations were then circulated about me, went viral in the West, and were quietly kept out of India. A major U.S. media outlet is now preparing to interview me, and for the first time, I'm choosing to speak on this. I believe I have the right to share my story. Since doing so, multiple celebrities in India have reached out privately, saying they're inspired by me speaking out," she added.
Amid the controversy surrounding the singer, his wife, Palakk Aujla has reacted on social media. The celebrity wife who enjoys a massive social media fan following, shared a loved up picture with the singer. With one post, Palakk has made her stand clear on how she stands by her husband amid the controversy. Karan Aujla has not yet reacted to the claims.
