Comedian Kapil Sharma has the desire to have Prime Minister Narendra Modi on his popular TV show "Comedy Night With Kapil".

In a recent interview, he said that he wants to invite Modi, who had nominated him for 'Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan'.

"I want to invite our Prime Minister on my show. He had nominated me for his Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan. I'm a fan of Modi sir. My biggest desire is to have him on my show," Kapil told The Times of India.

"I had approached Modi sir before the elections last year. However, his campaigning had started and I was told that during campaigning, he cannot come on GECs. Now, he is the PM. I hope he sets aside protocol and makes an exception to come on my show. When he goes to other news shows, they talk strategy and serious issues. If ever Modi sir comes to my show, I would like him to talk about his personal struggle. His story is so inspiring," he said.

However, PM Modi, who has won millions of hearts not only in India but also overseas, appearing on "CNWK", will be an epic episode if that happens.

In other news, Kapil has also cleared the air on rumours suggesting that he would leave the show. He denied such reports and said this is the show that brought him where he is today.

Meanwhile, the star host of "CNWK" will soon appear on silver screen with his debut film "Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon". Seeing the fan following of Kapil, the comedy flick might turn out to be a hit at the box office.
