Kapil Sharma has yet again emerged as the most loved Television character (non-fiction) in a survey titled Ormax Characters India Loves (Ormax CIL). The stand-up comedian, who runs "The Kapil Sharma Show," has become the most popular TV character, beating Sunil Grover and even Salman Khan.

"Ormax Characters India Loves" is a monthly survey conducted by Ormax Media that assesses the popularity of some of the top Hindi TV characters. In the survey conducted for the month of May 2016, taking a sample size of 3, 500 in 14 cities across the country, Kapil has topped the list, followed by Sunil and Rannvijay Singha.

Much in news for his upcoming movie "Sultan," Salman, who appears on the small screen as the host of popular show "Bigg Boss," has come down to the fourth slot. Both Kapil and Sunil appear on "The Kapil Sharma Show." While Kapil plays the main character and host in the show, Sunil is seen multiple characters in the comedy show.

"Roadies X4" judge Rannvijay, who has recently started hosting the latest season of "Splitsvilla" along with Sunny Leone, has secured the third position in the list of most popular non-fiction TV characters in May 2016. While Salman has claimed the fourth slot in the list, Madhuri Dixit has made her place in the fifth position for the dance reality show "So You Think You Can Dance."

While Kapil has consistently been the most loved non-fiction TV character in the said monthly survey, Sunil has come up directly in the second position for the first time. Madhuri too is a new entrant this month. In the last month's survey result, Rannvijay was in second slot and Salman was in third position, followed by Anoop Soni and Prince Narula in fourth and fifth positions respectively.
